A full-production outdoor lifestyle shoot in Tiburon — combining San Francisco videographer and portrait work on one of the Bay Area's most beautiful mornings.

There are mornings in the Bay Area when the light is so good you have no excuse not to shoot. This was one of them — golden, clear, and perfectly suited to a concept built around presence and self-possession.

The Location: Tiburon on the Bay

Producer Lisa Vortman found us the location: Caffe Acri in Tiburon, a charming spot right on the bay with the kind of outdoor setting that California does better than anywhere else. Tiburon's waterfront offers a very different visual quality to the city — softer, more expansive, with the bay as a natural backdrop. We arrived early, enjoyed their coffee, and let the location set the mood before the cameras came out.

The Creative Vision: Owning Your Confidence

I wanted to capture a woman owning her beauty and independence through self-confidence — not performance, not pose, but genuine presence. Model Ashley Nash brought exactly that. She has a natural ease in front of the camera that comes from knowing who she is, and the images reflect that. The concept was simple: a woman, a beautiful California morning, and no pretense.

The Production Team

This shoot was a full production: stylist and wardrobe by Jeneffer Jones, hair and makeup by Tara Thompson, and behind-the-scenes video by François Boulaire. A shoot of this quality depends on that kind of support — every creative decision reinforces every other.
