Carol Reiley — Surgical Roboticist and Entrepreneur

Carol Reiley is one of those people who makes you recalibrate your sense of what is possible. At a young age she had already accumulated an extraordinary range of work: surgical robotics research at Johns Hopkins, where she completed her PhD; co-founding a medical robotics company; writing children's books about robots and technology; and building a public presence as an advocate for women in technology and STEM education.

She was selected by the Johns Hopkins Gazette for a feature profile — the kind of story the Gazette runs when an alumnus has done something worth documenting at length.
