Studio Time with Dan Castro

What I love about studio sessions is the ability to create from scratch. The focus weigh heavy on the character, and the mood.

Whether working with a team or simply just keeping it photographer and subject, it is always really interesting to work on guiding the energy of the set in the direction of which you hope to portray through the images. With this shoot, although we were having fun, we set up the lighting and set our moods up for a more serious and cool look.

Connecting with Dan Castro on this job in NYC was a funny thing since we normally work on the photographer side of photo sets. But there is definitely a great appreciation for both positions; being the subject, and capturing the subject. Good times :-)
