A Portrait of a San Francisco Wood Worker
Torin Brandborg is a fantastic wood worker specializing in Furniture and Design. His workshop is on Market, in a building housing a variety of craftsmen. Although his projects vary, I was particularly inspired by his boats! He just finished his 3rd hand crafted wooden boat and I was lucky to be able to photograph him with it just nearing the tail end of his hard work. Not too much longer after our shoot he launched this boat at the San Francisco Boatworks ramp. I wish I could have been there to photograph the fun, but from what I heard... it was awesome and it did in fact float! Well done Torin!
